About me

Hey friends! My name is Alyssa and I am a junior marketing major at Messiah University. You will most likely find me running with my XCTF girls, at Starbucks, studying, or hanging out with my besties. I originally started my freshman year of college at Liberty University. For more backstory, check out my first blog post. I am passionate about making the kingdom known. The Lord has placed an eagerness in my heart to build a community with young women to challenge one another, keep each other accountable, and to learn from one another in our faith. The purpose behind CherishedHER comes from my own past struggles including loneliness, identity, and self-worth. The Lord placed CherishedHER on my heart as a reminder to me and you that we are cherished in God’s eyes, we are to cherish one another, we are uniquely created in God’s image, and that we have such a significant purpose here on earth. I pray that my personal experiences and faith journey impact and encourage you as you are on our own faith journey.
